Opening at Tatty Devine

So the Doghouse has finally opened at Tatty Devine on Brick Lane. And what an opening it was!

So here is the kennel I built to show the film within. On the walls are various stills by myself and ace photographer Toby Amies. This was before the opening…

… and this was during the opening! Courageous filmmaker Jamie Jay Johnson gets down on his knees to take a peek inside!

A few friends turned up and beer was drunk!

Mark Eley from ace fashion label Eley Kishimoto tried to eat the merchandise. And failed.

Even one of the stars of the show made an appearance.

I got tipsy and celebrated with my co-conspirator Toby.

That’s Rosie from Tatty Devine in the leopard print… and everyone’s favourite illustrator/artist Rob Ryan popped by to have a peek…

… and this is Harriet, the other half of Tatty Devine, with her daughter Bebe, tricked up in suitable doggy attire.

That is one of the limited edition ‘I wanna be your dog’ dogtags available from Tatty Devine. Available to buy right now, costing £22 each, just email them for details or call 02077399009.

Many thanks to all who came.. and if you’re in the area please pop in and have a look! Its at 236 Brick Lane and open every day except Mondays. Meanwhile there’s a screening of Doghouse at the Horse Hospital this Friday.
