Very happy to report ‘Ekki Mukk’ is to be screened at Art Basel Miami, on Wednesday December 5th, more details if you click here, in a program of films curated by Artprojx. The film will be projected on the 7,000-square-foot outdoor projection wall of the Frank Gehry-designed New World Center. Sounds just about big enough for a snail and a fox.
Meanwhile Sigur Ros have arranged a huge number of screenings around the world, from McMurdo in Antartica (think Werner Herzog’s ‘Encounters at the End of the World’! Gay penguins, rah!) to ‘one screening in an almost 100-year-old cinema on an island in the middle of the atlantic ocean’. This is why I like Sigur Ros, they are, for a rock band, strangely perverse in what they do and how they do it. And all the better for it. Details of all the many screenings here.
