Donal Mosher and Michael Palmieri were there showing ‘October Country’, a film about Donal’s family. It’s a moving story about the cycles that can end up repeating from generation to generation.

There were some great movies to see, my favourites being ‘Rough Aunties’ by Kim Longinotto, and ‘Because We Were Born‘, two heavy duty, moving films telling the stories that often get left untold, because they’re not ‘sexy’.
